Who handles your information
MyCardTailor is maintained by the site owner. Use Contact & feedback for privacy questions, corrections or deletion requests. Provide a reply address if you would like a response.
Spending and preferences
The calculator uses the category totals and preferences you enter to estimate rewards. Your scenario is saved in local browser storage on your device. Calculation inputs are sent to our server to produce results; the application does not save those scenarios in its database.
We do not request bank credentials, account numbers, payment-card numbers, statements or access to your financial accounts. Do not include those details in feedback.
Sessions and security
An essential session cookie or session token helps protect calculation and feedback requests. The session lasts up to 24 hours. A daily pseudonymous identifier derived from a network address or authenticated account identifier is used to limit abusive requests. Rate-limit records have expiration times and are periodically removed.
The hosting platform and its infrastructure providers process requests and may maintain operational logs, including network and device information, under their own practices. We cannot promise that hosting providers retain no request metadata.
Feedback
We store your message, selected topic, submission time and optional email address in a private database. These records are visible to the authenticated site owner and authorized infrastructure providers supporting the service. They are used to investigate problems, consider improvements and respond when appropriate.
Feedback remains stored until the owner deletes it; there is currently no automatic feedback-deletion schedule. Ask for deletion through the contact form and include enough information to identify your submission without disclosing sensitive financial information.
Cookies, tracking and external links
MyCardTailor uses essential session storage and local scenario storage. It does not load advertising or audience-analytics scripts. We do not sell your submitted data or use it for targeted advertising on this website. The application does not change behavior in response to Do Not Track signals because it does not perform advertising tracking.
Issuer and other external links take you to sites with their own privacy policies. Access controls and hosting services may process information separately under their provider policies.
Your choices
Use Settings → Backup to download a local copy of your scenario. Use Settings → Backup → Clear saved scenario to remove your previous spending and settings and restore the example amounts. Clearing this site’s storage in your browser settings also removes its local preferences and session state. Clearing spending fields on the main page only resets those spending amounts.
Use the contact form to request access, correction or deletion of feedback. We may need to verify that a request concerns your own information. Applicable rights depend on your location and the service’s legal obligations.
Audience and changes
The tool is intended for adults considering US credit cards. It is not directed to children under 13. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised effective date. Check this page before submitting information after an update.
